Suncrest Apartments

Suncrest Apartments is an affordable apartment community designed for working families. Suncrest offers 81 garden-style apartment homes with either two, three or four bedrooms ranging from 945 to 1,248 square feet. Features include plush carpeting and vinyl flooring; central heating and air conditioning; built-in kitchen appliances; and patios or balconies. Community amenities include a pool and spa, fitness center, computer center, community room, BBQs, play areas and laundry facilities.

Rural areas like Barstow, California have a shortage of quality, affordable housing. Suncrest meets this need with three and four-bedroom units designed to accommodate large families. Thanks to rural tax credit financing, residency at the community is limited to households earning from 35% to 60% of the median household income for San Bernardino County as determined by the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development. The City of Barstow also assisted the project by providing a fee waiver.
